Start in Burgdorf
At our bike station in Burgdorf, you pick up your e-bikes and bike helmet. We explain the functions of the e-bikes, show you the route that you can download to your cell phone, you mount your cell phone on the cell phone holder on the handlebars of the e-bike - and off you go.
The route to Attisholz
Your excursion to Attisholz takes you through idyllic landscapes along the Emme. As there are hardly any inclines on the route, you will make rapid and pleasant progress. Along the Emme you will find secluded spots to linger and cool your feet.
Arrival in Attisholz
After around an hour, you will reach the Attsholz area. Since its opening in 2018, the site of the former cellulose factory has become home to numerous attractions, such as live concerts in the Kiesofenhalle and Attisholz Arena, street art and restaurants. A guided tour of the site is also possible.
Food in the 1881 canteen
On-site, we recommend the Kantine 1881 restaurant, which is located directly on the banks of the Aare. The cozy atmosphere and inviting terrace immediately whetted our appetite for more. The food is perfect for replenishing your energy reserves for the return journey. While you eat, you can enjoy the view of the Aare and the Attisholz area. The return journey takes you back along the Aare and Emme towards the Emmental valley.
